Beşiktaş sign Jeremain Lens and Álvaro Negredo!

Beşiktaş have executed an impressive double swoop today by signing up both the coveted Jeremain Lens from Sunderland and Álvaro Negredo from Valencia.

Álvaro Negredo is expected to arrive in Istanbul tomorow already after vigorous negotiations over the past week. Ahmet Bulut represented Beşiktaş in the negotiations with Negredo and Valencia, today Umut Güner and Şafak Mahmutyazıcıoğlu travelled down to Valencia to finalize the details. Beşiktaş will pay Valencia a €2,5m fee for Negredo, spread over multiple installments. Negredo will sign a 3-year deal withh his wages expected to be around €4m pa.

Beşiktaş have also completed the signing of Dutch International Jeremain Lens from Sunderland, the 29-year old Dutch winger will sign a 5-year contract worth around €2,2m pa. The transfer fee is expected to be in the area of €4m, against spread over multiple installments.

Jeremain Lens spent last season out on loan with Fenerbahçe for whom he made 38 appearances, in which he scored 5 goals and provided 17 assists.

Financial details are yet to be confirmed and these are just rough estimates.
