Demba Ba is very keen on a prolonged stay with Beşiktaş after tasting Championship glory during his 6-month loan this past season.

Beşiktaş sold Demba Ba to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua two Summers ago for a club record fee of €13m, but the 32-year old striker came back on a six month loan last season and clinched the Turkish Süper Lig title with the Black Eagles.

Now, Demba Ba has set  his hopes on winning more gold with Beşiktaş as he is determined to remain with the Black Eagles despite still being owned by Shanghai.

“My injury is not a huge problem anymore, I want to stay with Beşiktaş and win atleast two more league titles” Ba continues, “I love Turkey, I hope we can reach a deal with Beşiktaş so i can stay. Other countries can’t match the same excitement that Turkey has”.

Beşiktaş are considering to retain Demba Ba on loan from Shanghai Shenhua as their third striker, instead of Mustafa Pektemek, should Ba pass the necessary medical tests he is very likely to remain with the Black Eagles for atleast one more season.
