Big money on the table for Cenk Tosun

Beşiktaş and Turkey striker Cenk Tosun’s solid performances have not gone unnoticed as he has attracted interest from Premeir League sides.

Milliyet reported earlier today that Crystal Palace had put in an offer of £ 10 million (roughly €11m) and now it being reported that Newcastle United are also interested in the services of the 26 year old Turkish International.

NTV Spor claim that Şenol Güneş has given the go ahead to the move however TRT Spor’s Firat Günayer contradicts this claim.

Nevertheless it is believed that Beşiktaş aren’t going to accept the ~€11m offer, and won’t consider anything less but £15m. With the transfer window in England closing on the 1st of September, things will have to move quickly.

In Turkey the transfer window is open until the 8th of September, which would give Beşiktaş exactly a week to find a replacement should they sell Cenk Tosun on deadline day.
