Today the draw for the UEFA Champions League last 16 took place in Nyon Switserland, Beşiktaş were paired withthe German ‘Recordmeister’ FC Bayern München.

As group winners Beşiktaş will play the return leg at home, that means they’ll travel to Munich first for the away leg which will be played on February 13th 2018 followed by the return leg three weeks later at Vodafone Park on March 6th 2018.

Beşiktaş and FC Bayern only met twice before, during the 1997-1998 UEFA Champions League group stages, Bayern won both matches with a 2-0 scoreline.

FC Bayern ended second in their group behind Paris St.-Germain, level on points with 15 each, and above Celtic Glasgow and Anderlecht while Beşiktaş topped their group with 14 points ahead of FC Porto, RB Leipzig and AS Monaco.
