The Black Eagles travel to Antalyaspor, a team they beat 2-0 at home earlier in the season on the opening matchday. The hosts are missing several key players, including Samuel Eto’o, Maicon, William and Djourou.
Beşiktaş are without their regular central defensive duo of Pepe and Dusko Tosic, who are both sidelined due to injuries. They’re expected to be replaced by new signing Domagoj Vida and Matej Mitrovic, although Gary Medel might sneak in there before kick-off time.
With 30 points from 17 games, Beşiktaş have a lot to make up for. With topscorer Cenk Tosun being sold to Everton over the Winter break it’s up to the Spanish Matador Álvaro Negredo to step up to the plate and to provide Beşiktaş with some much needed goals.
