The Black Eagles have agreed on a 3+1 year contract wtih Cruz Azul central defender Enzo Roco, on an undisclosed fee (free transfer as per TRT Spor). Roco is expected to arrive in Istanbul later tonight.
Roco is being brought as a replacement for the already departed Dusko Tosic and Matej Mitrovic, while Domagoj Vida also seems on his way out. So Beşiktaş were certainly in need of an additional central defender.

Enzo Roco is a 25-year old 1.91 tall central defender from Chile, in Europe he has played in the Spanish La Liga for both Espanyol and Elche making a total of 65 La Liga appearances in two seasons. For the past two years he has been playing for LigaMX side Cruz Azul in Mexico. He is a youth product of 12 times Chilean champions Unversidad Catolica. He has recently captained the Chilean national team in some friendly matches and is described as a “future captain” and “natural leader”.
