With all of the end of season excitement going on currently, the...
TRT SPOR and their trusted Beşiktaş reporter Firat Günayer reported yesterday that the Black Eagles have come to an agreement with the surprise Belgian revelation at the World Cup and that the clubs are only slightly apart in regards to the fee. Whether Chadli will be initially loaned or directly transferred isn’t clear at this time.
Nacer Chadli was part of the Belgian side that became 3rd at this past FIFA World Cup in Russia and played an instrumental part by scoring the winning goal in added time against Japan, while putting in selfless and hard working performances in the Brazil and France games.
While Chadli’s preferred position is without a doubt that of a left winger, he offers his coaches a lot of versatility by being able to play in multiple positions. Including but not limited to the number 10 position, the right wing aswell as a more central midfield role and he can even play as a left or right back. However, Chadli’s qualities lay mainly in the offensive compartment of the pitch.
Nacer Chadli has made a name for himself while playing for Dutch sides AGOVV and FC Twente, his performances at the latter earning him a move to Tottenham Hotspur where he spent 3 seasons, before joining West Brom in 2016. Unfortuantely injuries hampered him with West Brom, who relegated from the Premier League this past season.
