Adem Ljajić is joining Beşiktaş on loan with (obligatory it looks like) option-to-buy from Serie A side Torino for a rumoured €1,25m loan fee with a €6,5m buyout clause.
The player is currently undergoing his medical examination at the Acibadem sports complex in Istanbul and will sign his official contract shortly after.
Beşiktaş have been in the market for a new number 10 eversince Anderson Talisca decided not to prolong his stay with the Black Eagles earlier this Summer. Ljajić joins Beşiktaş from Torino and has previously played for AS Roma, Internazionale and Partizan Belgrade and also had a short trial stint at Manchester United during the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
Beşiktaş qualified for the group stages of the Europa League yesterday and have been drawn in Group I with Belgian side KRC Genk, Swedish side Malmö FF and Norwegian side Sarpsborg 08 FF.
