Latest Beşiktaş transfer news.

Updated: August 13, 2014

Beşiktaş is still in the hunt for a playmaker, a right back and possibly another center back. There have been many rumors about names in the media. There have also been rumors about a departure as well. Let’s begin with the rumors in the media about possible arrivals;

Younes Belhanda;

According to NTV Spor, Beşiktaş is awaiting a response from Dinamo Kiev for Belhanda. Beşiktaş have supposedly made a final offer of €8,000,000 + 20% of Belhanda’s next sale to Kiev. We’ll have to wait and see how this transfer concludes in the coming days.

Bryan Ruiz;

According to Lig TV, executive board member in charge of football international affairs, Erdal Torunoğulları, sat down on the table with the English club, Fulham, a couple of days ago. Erdal Torunoğulları had reached an agreement with Bryan Ruiz and an agreement in principle with his club, but he was faced with the issue of when the payments were going to be made to the club for Bryan Ruiz’s fee. It is expected for this issue to be solved in the second meeting. Lastly, there are rumors in social media that Spanish side, Sevilla, has made an official offer to Fulham for Bryan Ruiz.

Adel Taarabt;

Taarabt is a surprise name that was written in the media by Milliyet yesterday and today, Lig TV has written about him as well. Milliyet had stated yesterday in their news that Beşiktaş were leaning towards this transfer after he was suggested to the club via managers. Today, Lig TV wrote that, Torunoğulları is going to sit down with Adel’s club, Queens Park Rangers, and have a meeting with his club for Taarabt’s price. It has also been learned by Lig TV that a fee of €7,000,000 was wanted by his club for his permanent transfer. It’s been written that Beşiktaş is going to try and bring this price down or try and loan him if the conditions are suitable for it. On the other hand, another team who is interested in Taarabt is the team that Taarabt played on loan for last season, Milan. He scored 4 goals and assisted a goal in 14 matches for them. According to Sky Italia, the latest news by them is that Milan still hasn’t sent their offer in for Taarabt yet and that Alessio Cerci is Milan’s priority ahead of Taarabt according to Foot Mercato.

Martin Linnes;

According to NTV SporBeşiktaş is still bargaining with Linnes’ club, Molde. The Norwegian club first wanted €3,000,000 for the 22 year old right back and if this price is to be brought down to about €1,500,000, then this transfer will happen. It’s looking like Martin Linnes is Beşiktaş’ first option for the right back position. If Linnes is transferred, then he won’t be able to play against Arsenal in both matches since he already played a qualifying round in the UEFA Europa League with Molde this season.

Joao Pereira;

NTV Spor recently wrote that, if an issue is to come up with Martin Linnes, then contacts with Pereira from Valencia is going to begin. Also, it’s been stated that head coach, Slaven Biliç, gave approval for his transfer. The 30 year old right back has 1 year left in his contract.

Tarık Çamdal;

We recently wrote an article about the return of Tarık Çamdal rumors. It’s an article from Haber1903. Technical deputy chairman, Mehmet Akman, spoke to them and said that there is little difference left for the price that they requested for Beşiktaş and the price that Beşiktaş offered to Eskişehirspor. He ended his comments by saying that the transfer will either conclude positively or negatively this week. Tarık is a 23 year old right back who has Turkish origins. He won’t take up a foreign spot if he comes. Also, he recently extended his contract with Eskişehirspor for 4,5 years last season during the January transfer window. It’s also known that Galatasaray is also after his signature, but they had problems with Eskişehirspor regarding his price, so Tarık’s transfer to Galatasaray is very unlikely.

Serdar Taşçı;

The 27 year old center back from Spartak Moskow with Turkish origins came to Beşiktaş’ agenda recently. According to Haber1903, manager, Ahmet Bulut, was sent to a meeting to Russia for Serdar a couple of days ago, but his transfer for this season is very unlikely as his price was too high. Lastly, Serdar Taşçı recently made some comments (These comments were translated from @SanliBesiktas_). Here is what he had to say;

”Slaven Biliç called me. He is a coach that I have a lot of respect for. He told me that he really wanted to see me in his team. Beşiktaş met up with my manager, but I feel like a new transfer here (Spartak Moskow). I need to prove myself here. Having a conversation with Biliç was very good. Beşiktaş is a big club. I guess, they also found the price that was requested for me too high. This topic is closed.”

Marcelo dos Santos Ferreira;

According to Abola & Record, Beşiktaş is interested in Rio Ave’s Brazilian center back, Marcelo. Beşiktaş have made an offer near €2,000,000 to Rio Ave for the 25 year old Brazilian according to O Jogo.

Hasan Kuruçay;

According to @MedyaBesiktasTV, Beşiktaş have took Odense Boldklub’s 17 year old Turkish descent Danish center back, Hasan Kuruçay, for trial.

There have also been rumors about a departure. Let’s have a look at that rumor real quick;

Filip Holosko;

Yesterday, Haber7 wrote that Holosko had reached an agreement with Akhisar Belediyespor and that the official signatures were going to be signed in the coming days as Holosko was leaning towards this transfer, but the rumors got denied by Akhisar’s spokesman, Evren Acar, as he said;

”We didn’t have a meeting with Holosko up to today. The news that was made about him isn’t true.”

Even though it’s looking like Akhisar won’t be getting Holosko, another Spor Toto Super League side might as Günebakış Gazetesi wrote that, Çaykur Rizespor has gained interest in Holosko upon head coach, Mehmet Özdilek’s request.

Lastly, there are many players that are expected to leave the club either on loan or permanently. Sezer Öztürk, Michael Eneramo and Gökhan Süzen are the main 3 players that are expected to go to a new team for sure, but there is currently no news written about them in the media.
