Double digit call-ups for International duty

Eleven Beşiktaş players have been called up for international duty between the 9th and 15th of October.

TURKEY

Canada’s captain Atiba Hutchinson asked to be excused from international duty seeing as the Canadian national team will only be playing a friendly against Colombia.

Pedro C. Franco got his first ever senior squad call-up for Colombia’s games with El Salvador (10/10) and Canada (14/10).

Tomas Sivok returns to the Czech national team after an extended absence due to injury, he may feature in the EURO 2016 qualifying game with Turkey (10/10) and/or Kazakhstan (13/10).

Beşiktaş are the main purveyor of players for the Turkish national team with a total of seven call-ups for the home game against the Czech Republic (10/10) and the away game with Latvia (13/10) during the EURO 2016 qualifiers.

Demba Ba also returns to the Senegal squad after missing the games with Egypt and Butswana due to a minor injury last month, Senegal will face off twice with Tunisia (10/10 and 15/10).

Veli Kavlak will first travel to Moldova (9/10) with Austria before facing Montenegro (13/10) at home.

José Ernesto Sosa did not receive a call-up for Argentina, he was part of the pre-selection for Argentina’s FIFA 2014 World Cup squad in Brazil, but did not make the final cut and has not been called up by Argentina’s new headcoach Gerardo Martino.
