In the past months it has been repeatedly suggested that Tomas Sivok is on his way out at Beşiktaş, after playing for the Black Eagles for 6 years joining them in the summer of 2008 and for € 5.500.000 from Udinese Calcio.

Today NTV SPOR sat down with Czech International and Beşiktaş captain to ask him about his situation at the club. Sivok was quite clear, he’s not going anywhere.

“I spoke with Önder Özen and Slaven Bilic last week in Istanbul, they told me there isn’t anyone at the club who doesn’t want me there. Önder Özen told me that he wants to see me in the team in the coming season.”

He continues…

“Last season I was sidelined for a long time, but I feel very good now. I’m going to work hard to get my place back in the first eleven.”

Tomas Sivok will turn 31 on the 15th of September 2015, he made 138 Süper Lig appearances for the Black Eagles. He also played 5 Champions League games for the Eagles and 19 Europa League games aswell as 7 Turkish cup games.
