Several Beşiktaş players have prematurely returned to Istanbul and will not be part of the matchday squad against Gençlerbirligi.

Sports journalist Firat Günayer reported earlier that the following plaeyrs have returned to Istanbul: José Ernesto Sosa, Veli Kavlak, Cenk Tosun, Cenk Gönen and Mustafa Pektemek.

José Sosa suffered an injury during training and underwent an MRI-scan yesterday which revealed that he had suffered a hernia. It remains to be seen how long the Argentinian playmaker will be out for, however coach Bilic seemed positive that Sosa would not be out for an extended period of time.

Mustafa Pektemek is still recovering from his fractured cheekbone which he suffered two and a half months ago against Trabzonspor.

Cenk Tosun is recovering from a foot injury he suffered in the cup game against Adana Demirspor.

Gökhan Töre left training early yesterday as a precaution, it will be decided tomorow whether he will play or not.
