Kayserispor: 1 Beşiktaş: 0

Beşiktaş have been knocked out of the Ziraat Türkiye Küpasi by second division side Kayserispor, the leaders of the Süper Lig faced the leaders of the PTT1. division at the Kayseri Kadir Has stadium today in the round of 16 of the Turkish cup.

Kayserispor won the game thanks to a 39th minute penalty goal from Anil, a penalty which was caused by Ugur Boral. The Black Eagles struggled to create chances throughout the match and appart from one really big chance right at the end for Demba Ba, they really did not manage to threaten goalkeeper Agaev.

An early and dissapointing end to the Turkish cup for the Black Eagles who lacked inspiration as they have in the past few weeks. Hopefully Bilic will be able to get the boys focussed on the coming games against Bursaspor and Liverpool, because today’s performance will not suffice for a win in either games.
