Round of 16 (second leg, aggregate 1-2)

Tonight in a packed Atatürk Olimpiyat stadium the Black Eagles will host Belgian’s Club Brugge fort he second leg of the UEFA Europa Leageu’s round of 16.

Beşiktaş are expecting more than 65,000 fans tonight as all tickets havebe en sold out for the past few days. There will also be a small amount of around 250 Club Brugge fans attending the match.

The Black Eagles will need to turn around a 1-2 aggregate scoreline, meaning 1-0 at home would suffice but conceding will make the job only more difficult.

With Atiba Hutchinson on the bench tonight and several sources claiming that Mustafa Pektemek will be starting allongside Demba Ba up front it is to be expected that Slaven Bilic will chose for a more direct 4-4-2 approach instead of his regular 4-3-3 formation.

Beşiktaş have only played in a 4-4-2 formation once this season, over the past weekend in a convincing 5-1 victory over Kayseri Erciyesspor.

Both Brugge and Beşiktaş tanked confidence over the weekend as bothteams  got convincing wins in the league.

Tolga Zengin could make his return to the first team after suffering a knee injury against Bursaspor which sidelined him for over a month.

Beşiktaş predicted XI:

Tolga Zengin; Opare, Necip, Franco, Motta; Tolgay, Veli Kavlak, Olcay, Gökhan Töre; Mustafa Pektemek, Demba Ba
