Beşiktaş defender Atinç Nukan has agreed personal terms with Redbull Leipzig, according to player agent Ahmet Bulut this concerns a five year contract.

Redbull Leipzig, who currently play in the 2. Bundesliga, will pay a fee of € 5 million for the 21-year old central defender. And, if they achieve promotion to the Bundesliga, Beşiktaş will receive an additional € 1 million.

RB Leipzig is a new project backed by soft drinks manufacturer Redbull who previously also became head sponsors behind Redbull Salzburg (Austria) and the New York Red Bulls (USA, MLS).

Their goal is to get Leipzig up to the Bundesliga and contend for the trophies, their headcoach Ralph Ragnick is known for scouting and developing young talents as he previously did at Hoffenheim. The chances of Leipzig achieving promotion in the coming years is quite big so this transfer will most likely end up making Beşiktaş a cool € 6 million.
