Quaresma on his way back to Beşiktaş?

Updated: July 10, 2015

Yesterday we reported that the Beşiktaş board have put Ricardo Quaresma on the transfer agenda.

The 31-year old Portuguese winger who played at Beşiktaş previously between 2010 and 2012 currently plays for FC Porto, but despite having a good season last year it has been reported that he has been told by the club that he is not expected at their training camp during pre-season.

Because Quaresma was part of the Portuguese national team selection in recent international matched he was given extra holidays anyway and was only expected back at Porto’s training facilities today. However it has been reported that he has not shown up. Further increasing speculation that the flamboyant winger is on his way out at FC Porto.

Beşiktaş watcher and journalist Firat Günayer revealed last night that the board have decided to consider bringing back Ricardo Quaresma to Beşiktaş after a large portion of the fanbase showed their desire to see him back at the club on social media.

NTV Spor are now reporting that Beşiktaş have started negotiations to bring Quaresma back to Istanbul, A spor are even reporting that Quaresma has already accepted Fikret Orman’s proposal to return to Beşiktaş.
