Beşiktaş are set to sign Douglas Silva Bacelar on a one year loan from Dnipro Dnipropretovsk.

The Black Eagles will have an option to buy the 25-year old Brazilian at the end of the loan spell for a fee of € 5,5 million.

UEFA named the 1.90 tall Douglas in their Europa League best eleven starter squad last month, after he reached the finals with his team Dnipro (3-2 defeat at the hands of Sevilla).

Douglas has the most clearances of any other player in this past year’s edition of the UEFA Europa league, 143; 81 of which were headed clearnances. In addition he also had 56 interceptions.
