O Jogo are reporting that the negotiations between Beşiktaş and FC Porto have come to fruition. Quaresma will travel down to Istanbul in the coming days to undergo his medical examination and sign a two year contract.

FC Porto have reached an agreement with Beşiktaş over a € 1,6 million trasnfer fee. The only thing remaining is for the player to actually put his signature under the two year contract which has been offered to him. Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman confirmed on Tuesday that the negoations were in the final stages and an agreement was nearby. Yesterday evening it was confirmed that an agreement had been reached.

Ricardo Quaresma will travel to Turkey in the coming days to undergo his medical and sign his contract with Beşiktaş. Quaresma spent the past two seasons at FC Porto in which he played a total of 67 games and scored 19 goals, relaunching his career to now return to Turkey and Beşiktaş. For whom he already played during the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons.

Quaresma’s recent critisism of a lack of “mystique” in the FC Porto squad are claims which fell badly at the Dragão. From there on his departure and return to Beşiktaş seemed inevitable.
