In his exclusive interview with HABER1903;

Şota emphasized the importance of the match against Beşiktaş; “First derby of the season. This will be a good test to see where both teams stand. I hope it turns out to be a great game. Both teams have an attacking mentality so a good match awaits the fans.”

Shared his thoughts on the pitch of Atatürk Olympic Stadium; “Atatürk Olympic Stadium is huge and probably a huge crowd will be at the game. Matches without fans don’t have the same excitement or the quality. The most important part is the pitch. Last season it was really bad.”

Şota concluded his interview by talking about Beşiktaş’s resounding win at Mersin; “Beşiktaş played a good game in the first match of the season. Individually every member of their first 11 played really good football so we have to man mark every player.”
