Matchday 4

Besiktas will face Medipol Başakşehir on matchday 4 of the 2015-2016 Spor Toto Super Lig season in a home game in the Olimpiyat Stadium.

Başakşehir has always been one of the most vicious opponents for our Black Eagles, especially in the Olimpiyat Stadium. Last season Besiktas won their away game in this derby with a 1-2 scoreline, but only managed to get a 0-0 draw in the home game. However, both of these games were played in the Fatih Terim Stadium. The Olimpiyat Stadium was once the home venue of Başakşehir and in 7 games in that stadium since 2007, The Black Eagles have never managed to win a single game.

Oğuzhan Özyakup suffered a minor injury during training this week but according to journalist Firat Günayer, the playmaker is ready to start in Sunday’s match.

With Ricardo Quaresma’s suspension now being over, Şenol Güneş has a tough decision to make. He has to bench one of the following four players for the three attacking positions behind the striker: Olcay, Quaresma, Sosa and Töre. It is expected that Güneş will leave Olcay out of his starting 11.

Beşiktaş predicted XI:

Tolga Zengin; Beck, Rhodolfo, Ersan, Tosic; Atiba, Oğuzhan, Sosa; Quaresma, Töre, Mario Gómez
