With another international break coming to an end, here’s the recap of how the Beşiktaş players, who were called up to the National Team, did.

Turkey: Gökhan Töre, Oğuzhan Özyakup, Olcay Şahan, Cenk Tosun and Ersan Adem Gülüm

Portugal: Ricardo Quaresma

Serbia: Dusko Tosic

Gökhan Töre: Gökhan featured in both of Turkey’s final 2 Euro 2016 qualifying matches, both coming on as a sub in the 2nd half. He wasn’t able to record a goal or an assist, but he did see a direct red card after a reckless tackle against Iceland in the 77th minute. He will most likely get at least a 2 match ban for his red card.

Oğuzhan Özyakup: Oğuzhan started both matches for Turkey against the Czech Republic and Iceland and got subbed off in both during the 2nd half. Even though he couldn’t contribute to the team statistically, he played well in the midfield and had a couple of key passes.

Cenk Tosun: After not getting called up last time around, Cenk got called up this time instead of Batuhan Karadeniz. Cenk played in both matches for Turkey. He started the first against the Czech (got subbed off in the 2nd half) and came on in the 2nd half as a sub against Iceland. Cenk couldn’t grab himself a goal or an assist, but he performed well, especially against the Czech.

Olcay Şahan and Ersan Adem Gülüm: Olcay and Ersan didn’t get playing time in both of Turkey’s matches.

Ricardo Quaresma: Quaresma featured in Portugal’s final 2 Euro 2016 qualifying matches against Denmark and Serbia. He came on as a sub in the 2nd half against Denmark and played the full 90 minutes against Serbia. Ricardo wasn’t able to bag himself a goal or an assist during the time he was on the field.

Dusko Tosic: Tosic got playing time in both of Serbia’s last 2 Euro 2016 qualifying matches against Albania and Portugal. He featured in the 2nd half against Albania after coming on as a sub for an injured player and started the match against Portugal and was on the field for the full 90 minutes. Tosic assisted Serbia’s 2nd goal against Albania and saw a yellow card in the 79th minute against Portugal. Also, Tosic played as the left center back against Portugal.
