Marcelo Ferreyra, Pedro Franco’s manager, has made a statement about making work of a transfer of his client. The Colombian stopper didn’t get any playing time in official matches so far this season and is now apparently looking for a move to another club.

Ferreyra said: “Several European clubs are interested in Franco. We are trying to make a fast decision for his transfer.”

Yesterday Şenol Güneş, head coach of Beşiktaş, already said: “Pedro isn’t looking like our kind of player. His positioning and aerial skills are good, but the way he switches back to defense and his situations against fast players aren’t how we like to see. We are looking for a new stopper, preferably a fast one who can also play at the back position.”

Franco still has a contract until 2018 with Beşiktaş.
