Beşiktaş will face Çaykur Rizespor in round 8 of the Super Lig 2015-2016 season, the first in a row of hard matches. The Black Eagles are now in first place with 16 points, but head coach Şenol Güneş doesn’t think this is as important as it is made out to be.

Güneş is trying to keep the players who came back from their national teams motivated by warning them that the Iceland match is now in the past. Güneş also claims that there is no value in people saying that Beşiktaş is the best team in the league. He says this has been done in the past seasons frequently as well but the race could then not be finished in a positive way. The experienced head coach says it’s more important to keep playing good football and this time be on top of the table at the end of the season and therefore wants to keep the concentration high these upcoming 6 matches in the league and in Europe.

Güneş is planning on playing in the same line-up as the one against Eskişehirspor before the national break. The Rizespor match line-up is therefore expected to be as follows: Tolga; Tosic – Ersan – Rhodolfo – Beck; Atiba – Oguzhan – Sosa; Quaresma – Gómez – Töre.
