Beşiktaş have signed a new agreement with Medipol Başakşehir about the number of games they will play in the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium. Two months ago both teams agreed that the Black Eagles could play 4 matches in their stadium during the first half of the 2015-2016 Spor Toto Super Lig season, but they have now agreed that a fifth match will be added: the home game against Konyaspor.

Beşiktaş have already played their match against Rizespor (1-0 win) and the derby against Kasımpaşa (3-3 draw) in the Başakşehir Stadium. The games that will further be played there are the ones against Medicana Sivasspor, Akhisar Belediyespor and as mentioned Konyaspor. The game against Konyaspor will be on matchday 17, the last round of the first half of the season.

Beşiktaş play their derby, European and Turkish Cup games in the Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadium. The only league game during the first half of the season that won’t be played in the Başakşehir Stadium is therefore the derby against Galatasaray on matchday 15. It is reported that Beşiktaş is planning to negiotate with Başakşehir president Göksel Gümüşdağ to play their home games in the second half of the season in the Başakşehir Stadium as well, until the opening of the long-awaited Vodafone Arena.
