Beşiktaş played to a 1-1 draw against Lokomotiv Moscow in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday and thus lost 2 important points. This however isn’t the only matter remaining from the match, since he UEFA has started an investigation of three things the fans and club fell short of:

  • The stairs were being blocked
  • Torches were being lighted in the stadium
  • The organisation was shortcoming

Beşiktaş isn’t the only club that will be investigated however, since the UEFA has also started an inquiry of the behaviour of Lokomotiv fans, who had behaved in an inappropriate manner (drunk fans showed their bums) and tried to get on the pitch. The verdict will be announced on 19 November, exactly one week before the matches of round 5 of the Europa League group stage. Beşiktaş will be playing a home game against Skenderbeu, while Lokomotiv have a game against Sporting Lisbon in Russia.
