Beşiktaş official Erdal Torunoğulları answered some questions in an interview with NTV Spor, in which he was asked about the victory in the Galatasaray derby and the rumours about a possible transfer of David Ospina.

“It was a game between Beşiktaş and Muslera”

Torunoğulları firstly gave his opinion on the derby against Galatasaray of yesterday: “The football that is being played is just as important as the result. Beşiktaş really played good football. It was completely a game between the Beşiktaş team and the Galatasaray goalkeeper. I want to congratulate the Galatasaray goalkeeper. He made some great saves. We are very joyful. We grabbed this result with good football. I’m happy.”

“The chance of Ospina coming is zero”

When Ospina’s name is being mentioned in the questions about transfers, Torunoğulları replies: “We are working on transfers, but we haven’t put it on the table with our coach yet. We are waiting for the first half of the season to end. We will most likely transfer a central defender and a goalkeeper. I can’t give names, but the chance of Ospina coming is zero. He is his team’s second goalkeeper and they don’t want to let him go. We have three candidates for the position of central defender. It’s hard to make a transfer during the winter break. Some teams want to get rid of their problematic players, but we don’t want to buy problematic players. If there is a player we want we will make a transfer.”
