Beşiktaş’ Austrian midfielder Veli Kavlak is set to make his return to the Turkish football fields after a lengty absence of nearly 9 months.

The 27 year old midfield engine played his last game for club and country on the 22nd of March 2015 against Fenerbahçe and has since been out due to a significant shoulder injury.

Veli was only supposed to be out for a few months initially but after it turned out that his first surgery wasn’t a complete success he had to undergo another one over the summer which saw him miss nearly the entire first half of the current 2015-2016 season.

Veli Kavlak is expected to start tonight in the Turkish cup group stage match against Karabükspor.
