Boyko and Douglas make gesture to speed up transfer

Earlier this week it was reported by Sabah that Beşiktaş were shocked by Dnipro’s asking price of € 10 million for the pair of Denys Boyko and Douglas Silva and that the club was going to use Douglas’ new (minor) injury to lower the price to € 6 million.

Yesterday it was reported by Sabah that the Black Eagles already reached agreements with Douglas and Boyko, for respectively € 1.3 million and € 1.1 million on annual wages. Dnipro however still did not accept Beşiktaş’ offer of € 6 million, the Ukrainians wanted € 8 million for their two players.

According to Milliyet, the duo has now accepted lower wages to speed up the transfer process, with Douglas going down to € 1.1 million and Boyko to € 900.000. Beşiktaş are therefore saving € 400.000 annualy on wages. The Black Eagles are now going to raise their offer of € 6 million to Dnipro because of this gesture of the two players.

Douglas and Boyko have met with the Dnipro board and once again made clear that they really want to make a transfer to Beşiktaş. With the duo accepting lower wages, Beşiktaş are now going to make their final offer to Dnipro. If the two clubs can agree over the transfer fee, the transfers of these two players is officialy going through.
