Beşiktaş are searching for a goalkeeper to sign in the upcoming transfer window in the highest gear and have knocked on FC Stade Rennes’ door, according to L’Équipe. Rennes have however rejected an offer from Beşiktaş for goalkeeper Benoît Costil.

Beşiktaş reportedly offered € 2 million for Costil, but Rennes have denounced that they aren’t willing to sell their 28 year old goalkeeper in the mid-season transfer window and before the end of this season. The Black Eagles are therefore going to have to search for another goalkeeper. They have been linked with numerous goalkeepers so far, including Samir Handanovic, David Ospina and Denys Boyko.

A deal with Dnipro’s Boyko seems closest after FutbolUkraine’s reports yesterday, for an article on his reports click here.
