Latest transfer developments

Updated: December 30, 2015

Beşiktaş reporter, Fırat Günayer, tweeted (@firatgunayer) out the latest transfer news:

  1. It’s as if though Beşiktaş has finished the Douglas and Boyko transfers, but it’s not true. The players are good to go, but Dnipro still hasn’t let them go.
  2. Everton, Sevilla and Dynamo Kyiv are also interested in Boyko. Dnipro will evaluate the offers and make a decision.
  3. Beşiktaş’ biggest advantage is the players wanting to come. There’s nothing left to do but wait for Dnipro’s decision.
  4. A lot of agents are suggesting goalkeepers to the club. There’s a lot of alternatives if Boyko doesn’t work out.
  5. Ochoa was suggested, but he reached an agreement with another team. Adler wanted too much money. An offer was made for Costil, but his club wants way too much for him. I can say that these keepers are out of the picture.
  6. Here’s how it’s looking for the goalkeeper transfer:
    1. Boyko
    2. Mandanda
    3. Cillessen
    4. Cabral
  7. The scout reports of the Brazilian keepers are also being evaluated.
  8. The two main reasons Beşiktaş tried to bring Ospina in was because Orman wanted him and Ospina said that he would come. However, Arsenal wants €8,000,000-€9,000,000 for him so it’s looking like his transfer won’t happen.
  9. There’s interest for Papy Djilobodji, but Douglas is the main target at the moment. If Douglas’ transfer doesn’t go through, then they will set their sights on Djilobodji.
  10. Motta is going to Antalyaspor. Franco will most likely go to his country. Eskişehirspor want to loan Pektemek, but the chances of it happening are slim.
