Earlier this week Antalyaspor president Gültekin Gencer announced that his club had reached an agreement in principle with Beşiktaş’ Ramon Motta. It is now being reported that Beşiktaş and Antalyaspor are going to sit around the table to negotiate a transfer fee.

President Gencer earlier this week said: “We met up with Motta and let him know that we wanted to see him on our team. Motta came back to us with a positive response and said that he would be happy to play for Antalyaspor. We contacted the club too and reached an agreement with them as well. There is an agreement in principle with both Motta and his club. We’re handling small details in the contract now. If a problem doesn’t come up, then Motta will play for Antalyaspor in the 2nd half of the season.”

According to Sabah, Motta and Antalyaspor have indeed reached an agreement in principle, but Beşiktaş are still going to negotiate a transfer fee with Antalyaspor, with the demanded fee being € 750.000.

Torku Konyaspor and Medipol Başakşehir were also interested in the services of the left-back, but a transfer to Antalyaspor now seems very close. He only played in one league game and two cup games so far for Beşiktaş this season and his contract is expiring in 6 months from now.
