Ramon Motta has officially agreed terms with Antalyaspor. The Brazilian has said goodbye to all his former teammates this morning and left the Beşiktaş camp to join the Antalyaspor team.

The left-back has reportedly given up on € 140.000 on wages he still had to receive from Beşiktaş and has in return joined Antalyaspor without them paying the Black Eagles a transfer fee. It is expected that Antalyaspor will make an announcement about this transfer later today.

Motta posted a picture taken with all his former teammates and the staff and posted a goodbye message to all the fans on his official Instagram account:

“It is hard to write this but I have to do it. I don’t know where to start but I am very grateful for these past 2.5 years because they were full of happiness for me. Unfortunately not everything in life always goes the way you want it to go, but I am leaving here with my head held high and happy because I gave it everything I got when I wore this jersey. I want to thank you Beşiktaş fans. You criticised me when I deserved to be criticised and praised me when I deserved to be praised. You guys are bigger than I thought. I wish you and the players all the luck in the world. You will always be in my heart.”

Several Beşiktaş players posted a goodbye message for Motta on their official social media accounts as well.

Beşiktaş loaned Motta from Corinthians in the 2013-2014 season, before permanentely buying him for € 1.1 million at the start of the 2014-2015 season. He was receiving a € 1.1 million wage for the current season.
