“My physique and athleticism is a gift. But what is more important is to work very hard. I work everyday on getting better.”

“Everything is excellent. I give my all to football. I ask for the fans’ support. I am a person who lives with football. I’m positive that I’ll be better with such support as the fans shows made at the airport.”

“I would like to state how grateful I am to our president. I know that he has watched and followed me personally. I would also like to thank Erdal Torunoğulları for his efforts during the transfer procress.”

“I follow the European leagues closely. Beşiktaş is a club that’s known in Europe. Football is loved in Turkey. I especially know how enthusiastic the Beşiktaş fans are.”

“I’m going to do my best. Becoming champions this year is very important.”

“One of the most important things in a football player’s career is taking part in European cups. I believe that I’ll be able to show myself with Beşiktaş in these European cups.”

“The coach, Şenol Güneş, being a goalkeeper before is a big advantage for me. I can learn what I need to do and how I can help the team out easier from him.”

“My dad is a former football player and he’s been helping me out since I was a kid. I started football at the age of 7. He would always tell me, “You’re alone on this road. You’re going to have to create your own path by working hard.” My dad helped me out a lot.”

“I started out football by following in my father’s footsteps and becoming a center back. Then I realized later on that playing center back wasn’t too interesting. Since my physique was suitable, I became a goalkeeper.”

“I don’t think I’ll have a hard time adapting to Turkey. Of course there are differences, but these aren’t that important. I’m going to adapt quickly. Also, Ukraine isn’t too far from here.”

“I know José Sosa. We played against eachother (when Sosa was playing for Metalist). I can say that he is a superb player. I also know that Andreas Beck can speak Russian. He’ll help me adapt quicker.”

“I love Antalya and Turkey a lot. We came here for training camps when I was at Dnipro, but I also chose to come here for vacations as well.”

“I’m a calm person off the pitch, but I love the match atmospheres. I have a crazy build on the pitch.”

“I hope I’ll live here for many years. I want to understand and speak Turkish as quick as possible.”

“Everything is going to continue as planned. We’re a team and maintain an organization all together. I don’t do transfers by myself. I thank my friends in the board. Besides Ahmet Nur Çebi, Erdal Torunoğulları and Metin Albayrak did a very good job.”

“Boyko is a player who’s going to help us out for a long time. He has a lot of character and he’s very honest. He’s a player who suits Beşiktaş. We felt that he wanted to come to us. Hopefully he’ll make our fans very happy in our new stadium with championships.”
