Bursaspor’s newly elected president, Ali Ay, has denied the rumours about a possible transfer of Serdar Aziz to Beşiktaş. He said the following in a live broadcast of Beyaz TV:

“We are not going to sell Serdar Aziz. An official offer of Beşiktaş did not come in. The only thing that happened was that there was asked about him indirectly. Serdar Aziz is our captain. He is a child of Bursa, he grew up here. Our coach wants him to stay anyway. We are definitely not selling Serdar Aziz before the end of this season. We could evaluate again at the end of the season, but the place Serdar will go is Europe. Ahmet Nur Çebi (Beşiktaş vice-president) has had a meeting with our friends, but the needed answer was given. Serdar Aziz is going to stay at Bursaspor.”
