Firat Günayer and multiple other sources are reporting that Beşiktaş defender Ersan Adem Gülüm is on the verge of a very lucrative transfer to China. His destination is believed to be Hebei China Fortune FC, the same club that purchased Stéphane Mbia from Trabzonspor over the past transfer window.

Beşiktaş had already sold Demba to Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenhua at the start of the season for an astronomical € 13 million.

The Chinese club are offering Ersan Gülüm € 4 million per season for 3 seasons and they have offered a € 7 million  transfer fee for the services of the Turkish International with Australian passport to Beşiktaş.

Over the past few days Ersan has reportedly held meetings with the Beşiktaş board and coach Senol Günes, stating that he wants to accept the offer as it is simply too good to refuse.

Beşiktaş had acquired the services of Ersan Gülüm from second division outfit Adanaspor back in 2010, initially on loan for a modest fee of 350 thousand and later made the move permanent for an additional € 2 million. During his time at Beşiktaş, Ersan suffered two ACL injuries, which caused him to miss over a year of action. Throughout his career with the Black Eagles he has struggled with some injury issues. Since joining Beşiktaş in the 2010-2011 season he has made 94 Süper Lig appearances, in addition he made 18 Turkish cup appearances and 19 European appearances for a grand total of 131 appearances in 5,5 years at the club.
