Beşiktaş already sold Demba Ba and Ersan Adem Gülüm to Chinese clubs and another important player could have left the club for that country. However, Mario Gómez has reportedly rejected an offer that came in from China.

Gómez, who scored 2 goals in the last league game against Gaziantepspor, was informed by his manager about the huge offers from several Chinese clubs and was asked if he wanted to meet with them. The German striker however rejected this proposal immediately, saying: “Don’t come to me with this, don’t even put it on the agenda. I’m only thinking about becoming champions with Beşiktaş and going to Euro 2016. This is my whole motivation at the moment.”

Gómez is currently the topscorer of the Spor Toto Süper Lig with 15 goals in 18 appearances, while he also managed to score 2 goals in 5 Europa League games.
