After the stadium opening, the Beşiktaş board members started negotiations with Tolga Zengin, Serdar Kurtuluş, and Ismail Köybaşı, who all have expiring contracts.
According to the information Haber1903 obtained, the board met up and talked with the captain, Tolga Zengin, about his contract details first. After the meeting, it’s expected for Tolga to stay at Beşiktaş for the coming years. On the other hand, Ismail Köybaşı indicated to the board that he wants about €1,500,000 per year with bonuses. The contacts are continuing with Ismail and it’s expected for it to end either positively or negatively in the coming weeks.
Also, Serdar’s agents are in contact with the Beşiktaş board too and have asked for a salary in proportion to what the domestic players on the team get. The board is evaluating this offer and it’s expected for them to make a decision on the player next week.
