Matchday 34

After winning the Süper Lig title on Sunday thanks to a 3-1 win over Osmanlispor, the Black Eagles travel to Konya for the final match of the season. Several key players have been left in Istanbul meaning that we’ll see a different than usual starting lineup tonight.

Şenol Güneş left league topscorer Mario Gómez, Ricardo Quaresma and captain Tolga Zengin all in Istanbul. Oguzhan Özyakup will miss the game due to yellow card accumulation and Veli Kavlak also didn’t travel with the team. Meaning that Cenk Tosun will be starting up front and Denys Boyko will get his chance between the sticks in all likelihood.

Both teams have no sportive gains to play for anymore as they are both certain of their position in the league standings regardless of tonight’s result.

Beşiktaş will celebrate their Championship victory and be presented with the Süper Lig trophy tomorow (Thursday) at the Vodafone Arena, this will be broadcast live on both Lig TV and BJK TV.

Beşiktaş predicted XI:

Denys Boyko; Andreas Beck – Marcelo Guedes – Dusko Tosic – Ismail Köybaşi; Atiba Hutchinson – Tolgay Arslan – José Sosa; Olcay Şahan – Gökhan Töre – Cenk Tosun
