Belgian record Champions RSC Anderlecht are reportely in for Beşiktaş leftback İsmail Köybaşı this summer.
The Belgian giants are down to the last game in the Belgian Pro League’s Championship play-off, in which they lead AA Gent by 3 points for second place which would allow them to take part in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
İsmail has an expiring contract with the Black Eagles and is free to negotiate with any club on a free transfer this Summer. The 27-year old leftback has been with the club since the Summer of 2009 but has had several injury setbacks halting his development over the years, this season he found himself back in the regular starting lineup and helped the Black Eagles to the 2015-2016 Süper Lig title. Despite his contributions to the championship win, he is frequently critisized for his lacking defensive awareness.
