Beşiktaş player Dusko Tosic has passed on a message from his fellow Serbian Alexander Kolarov to the club’s transfer committee. The 30 year old defender told the board that in case an agreement can be reached with Manchester Ctiy, Alexander Kolarov is looking positive towards coming to Beşiktaş.

Following this development, Beşiktaş have intensified their efforts to lay the groundwork for an agreement with Manchester City.

Alexander Kolarov still has a two year contract with the Citizens and the club are awaiting their new coach Pep Guardiola’s final team report. Manchester City will return to Beşiktaş with an answer on the possibility of a deal as soon as Guardiola has decided whether or not he wants to keep Kolarov at the club.

If Guardiola decides to let go of Kolarov, negotiations between Beşiktaş and Manchester City will begin over a transfer fee.
