Fikret Orman attended the championship celebrations held in Rotterdam by the Dutch Beşiktaş organisation. He held a speech and had some interesting and positive things to say.

Orman told the people that they had to endure very hard days to come to this point as champions. Also having a new stadium was a big boost for the club, according to Orman. He told the supporters that the board is doing all they can to make its fans happy. “Like I always have been saying, I am very honoured to be present here at the club, whose main priorities are honour and dignity. Beşiktaş is having very god days. We want to continue these days.”

During his speech he answered some questions saying that they do not want to transfer many players. “We will not be very busy this window. Beşiktaş got its structure already. However, the defence needs some changing. We want to extend Marcelo’s contract. We will buy a new centre back and new wingers. The fans want me to sell everyone and get new players, but that is impossible. We don’t follow a strategy like that.”
