Beşiktaş to tie up Marcelo deal this week

German media outlet Bild are reporting today that Beşiktaş and Hannover 96 are close to reaching a deal and the German based club expects said deal to come to fruition this week.

Hannover managing Director Martin Bader: “Besiktas is in discussions with him.” it concerns a deal until 2019 and only a few minor details are left to be resolved between the two clubs.

If a deal will not be reached by next week, Marcelo is expected to join the Hannover 96 training camp. He still has a contract with the German club, who relegated tot he 2. Bundesliga, until 2018.

Marcelo was brought in on loan this past January with an option to buy, he featured in 15 league matches in which the Black Eagles clinched the 2015/16 Süper Lig title. Marcelo scored a brace of goals in the deciding 3-1 victory in the final home game of the season against Osmanlispor.
