Beşiktaş are ready to add Deportivo La Coruña’s Fabricio, who has an expiring contract, to their ranks this Summer. An agreement for 3 years is in place with the 28 year old goalkeeper.

Ruling champions Beşiktaş have kicked their transfer procedures in a higher gear, president Fikret Orman recently stated that they “have agreed with a Spanish goalkeeper” but he refused to specify the player’s name. However, it is widely considered that this Spanish goalkeeper will be Fabricio Agosto Ramirez.

Fabricio had few appearances for Deportivo La Coruña this past season due to injuries and even saw a transfer to Beşiktaş in January fall in the water as he suffered another injury. Beşiktaş were prepaired to pay a transfer fee in January but now are able to sign the 28 year old goalkeeper on a free transfer as his contract with Deportiva has now expired.

Fabricio, or Fabri as he is often referred to, has come highly recommended by Beşiktaş’ goalkeeper coach José Sambade, who worked with him before at Deportivo.

Fabri

1,1 million euros in his first season

The rumoured agreement with Fabri is for three years in which he would receive a wage of 1,1 million euros in his first, 1,2 million euros in his second and 1,3 million euros in his third season. Fabri, who didn’t make a single appearance for Deportivo last season, has noted that Beşiktaş playing in the Champions League was a major factor in his decision, “Beşiktaş are a great team, I want to experience playing in the Champions League and that is why I think this is the right decision for me.”.
