Beşiktaş eyes new left-back option

Whilst the talks with Kolarov from Manchester City are still ongoing, alternatives are being considered.

For a while, the board is negotiating with Emmanuel Mas, but now Martin Olsson from Norwich City is considered as well. Olsson, who also played all the group games of Sweden during the EC, has got one year left in his contract at Norwich. The player was one of the few sparks at Sweden this summer and has been offered to the board. Most likely the board will start negotiations for him in the upcoming days.

Because of the agreements made with the UEFA concerning the FFP, the board is not in a hurry to transfer a new left-back. Ismail Köybaşi and Dusko Tosic are the options that coach Güneş has at this very moment. A new left-back will only come if the player is economically attractive as well.

Martin Olsson played 37 international matches for Sweden and scored 2 goals in those games.
