Now former Beşiktaş goalkeeper Günay Güvenç has joined PTT 1. division side Göztepe SK Izmir.
Beşiktaş has purchased Günay from German side Stuttgarter Kickers in the summer of 2013 for 200.000 euros and are now selling him to the Turkish second division hopefuls for an undisclosed fee (expected to be around 75.000 euros).
Günay Güvenç made a total of 18 appearances for the Black Eagles. During his time in Turkey Günay also had two loan spells, one at Adanaspor for whom he played 15 matches and a very brief one for Mersin Idmanyurdu for whom he made no appearances.
