‘Gökhan Töre passes West Ham United medical’

According to Doğan Haber Ajansi, Gökhan Töre has undergone and passed his medical examination with West Ham United in England.

Töre has reportedly undergone a medical examination in a private London hospital and he passed his medical examination with flying colours.

It is expected that the transfer of Gökhan Töre to West Ham United is to be made official within 24 hours, hereafter he will join the Hammers’ training camp. Beşiktaş are yet to release an official statement regarding the deal.

There also remains some mystery regarding the transfer deal, it is widely aknowledged that Töre will join West Ham on loan prior to potentially joining them on a permanent basis. However, Turkish media sources are reporting a loan fee of “just” 3 million euros while English sources are suggesting a far higher loan fee between 4 to 6 million pounds. Turkish sources are reportingt he option to buy to be 13 million euros while English sources on their part are reporting 6 to 8 million pounds (for a total of 13 million pounds including the inital loan fee). We’ll have to await the official press release by Beşiktaş to know for sure.
