Beşiktaş have already added experienced right-back Gökhan Gönül to their squad and have reached an agreement with Spanish goalkeeper Fabricio, whilst Gökhan Töre is on the verge of joining West Ham United on a season long loan. Now José Ernesto Sosa might be on his way out the door aswell.

But if the Argentine attacking midfield is to leave the Black Eagles, the interested parties will need to meet their asking price. Sosa has notified the Beşiktaş board of his desire to leave the club due to family reasons, with the threat of more terror attacks in Turkey the 31 year old wants to move his family away from the Metropolitan Istanbul.

One of the clubs which are rumoured to be interested in Sosa’s services are AC Milan. The Rossoneri have – according to the sources of Haber1903 – made a first 3 million euro bid for José Sosa. However Beşiktaş have promptly rejected said offer as it is way below their asking price and estimated value of Sosa.

Sosa will meet again with the Beşiktaş board over the coming week and it is expected that the outcome of this meeting will determine Sosa’s future at the club. If the final decision is made to sell Sosa, it is expected that Beşiktaş will put a price between 8 and 11 million euros on his head, leaving some margin for negotiation. José Sosa still has a two year contract remaining with the Black Eagles.
