Mario Gómez spent a very successful loan spell at Beşiktaş the past season, becoming the top scorer in the Turkish league with 26 goals and contributing immensely to the Black Eagles’ title victory.

Beşiktaş are now working hard on keeping Mario Gómez at the club on a more permanent basis. The German international has one year left on his contract with Fiorentina and the Italian club have put a price of 5 million euros on the 31 year old forward. Beşiktaş initially offered 3 million but have now reportedly increased their offer to 4 million euros which Fiorentina have accepted.

Beşiktaş will offer Mario Gómez a 3 year contract and are hoping to finalize this transfer as soon as possible to the player can continue his recovery from a hamstring injury at the club and join the team in their Austria training camp.
