Fabricio playing as defender during training match

Beşiktaş’ new goalkeeper Fabricio Agosto Ramirez featured in yesterday’s training match as a central defender due to a lack of defenders present at the Austria training camp.

With Alexis Delgado on his way to Deportivo Alavés, Alexander Milosevic joining Sweden’s Olympics side and with Andreas Beck having headed back to Istanbul to be with his pregnant wife, Beşiktaş had a shortage of defenders at yesterday’s training sessions so Fabri took part as a field player.

Perhaps not a bad sign towards Senol Günes’ faith in the Spaniard’s footwork, could you imagine Tolga Zengin taking part in a match as a field player, even if only in training?
