The Black Eagles played their final preseason friendly today, beating Greek champions Olympiakos Piraeus 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ömer Şişmanoğlu.

Ömer Şişmanoğlu scored the only goal of the match in the 58th minute, thanks to a sublime pass from Tolgay Arslan from the left wing

Beşiktaş started the match with the following lineup: Boyko; Beck – Marcel – Necip – Tosic; Atiba – Tolgay – Oğuzhan; Kerim – Olcay – Cenk.

In the second half Fabri, Adriano, Ömer, Aras, Quaresma, Rhodolfo, Gökhan Gönül and Mustafa Pektemek all came on at different times.

Tolgay Arslan was the star of the match, creating several good chances and providing the assist to Ömer’s goal which ended up being the match winner. The central midfielder continues his tremendous form from the preseason training camp in Austria after having missed most of last season due to a knee injury.

Beşiktaş  play Galatasaray on the 13th of August in the Konya arena for the Turkish Super cup final, their first official game of the season prior to Süper Lig season opener against Alanyaspor at the Vodafone Arena in the weekend of August 19th (date of the match is yet to be determined).
